My apologies to my readers. I have not posted since the weekend and will probably not be able to post until after this weekend due to a family emergency. I hope to continue with the portfolio postings and value investing topics next week.

Thanks for the concern. Unfortunately, it was quite serious. My wife was bitten on the hand by a dog and almost lost her index finger. It is finally looking up but will have six months of work to get her hand back to normal. Did I mention that she is 7 months pregnant.

I’m glad it wasn’t any worse.
Kind of makes me re-focus and remember what all this wealth and investing stuff is really all about – family.

Yes it is. We are incredibly grateful the situation did not turn out worse.
