Learning about Behavioral Finance

Part of the mission of this blog is to find interesting ways for beginning investors to learn about investing concepts. One that particularly intrigues me is Behavioral Finance. I discovered a blog the other day called Psy-Fi, cute right? I particularly enjoyed an article called Special Theory of Behavioral Finance. The Psy-Fi Blog says it takes a sideways look at Pyschology and Finance. The writer takes on the absurdity of Efficient Market Theory something I have railed about previously. It is literally the most stupid theory I know of, and so obviously proven false, by the likes of Graham, Buffett, Klarman, Greenblatt etc. These masters have shown over the course of decades that not just one person can beat the effeciency of the market, but that many people can find ineffeciencies in the market and exploit them repeatedly.
The article is quite good. Take a gander. I am going to explore more of the blog. The author hinted at an article on Mandelbrot, someone whose intellect I admire. Have a great Wednesday.
