Sunday – Chroma Investing Links

Since this investing blog is still in its infancy, I am still introducing you to other interesting investing links that I refer to often.

Valuehuntr. This blog describes itself as “uncovering deep value opportunities.” This blog has a lot of good ideas and is worth perusing. I don’t think their analysis is quite as good as Greenbackd, but like any blog, including this one. You need to do your own research. A blog is a great place to find ideas worth looking at. There have been lots of ideas that turned out to profitable that I did not invest in because I was not comfortable with the investment. If you can’t justify the investment to yourself. Don’t do it.

Cheap Stocks: Stocks below NCAV. This was one of the original sites I went to find ideas for NCAV. There name says it all. Unfortunately, they are posting infrequently, but worth paying attention to when they post.

The Graham Investor. The third is related to screening NCAV stocks. It has a couple of different stocks screeners available. I have previously mentioned the value of their NCAV stock screener in the post A screener for Net Net stocks. But although their website seems not to be regularly maintained any more, it does contain some other valueable information like the Altman Z and Piotroski Score. These can be useful for signaling whether or not a company is headed for success or failure.
