One of the best sources of information for the beginning investor is other blogs and internet sites. Some blogs do a best on the internet. Maybe I will do that at some point. First you need to know about some great websites and blogs. On Sundays I will roll out a few of my favorites.
Old School Value is a terrific value investing site.It seems he was inspired by FWallstreet, but in my opinion, he has surpased FWallstreet in quality of recent information. FWallStreet has some terrific articles but has dropped off posting regularly, so is not a reliable source right now.
Greenbackd is the best blog for Net Net stocks with a catalyst. Smart and detailed and absolutely a must read for anyone looking at Net Net stocks right now.
Stock Pursuit is another good investing blog to check out. The writer sometimes gets a little full of himself, and his analysis is not as solid as Greenbackd but he does come up with good ideas. His latest post on Friday is a special situation idea in a reverse stock split. We will look at special situations like this in later posts.
